We arrived in southern Utah in 2007. We hiked a lot, surrounding ourselves with the scenery in remote areas of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
The endless beauty of the landscape combined with Utah’s rich culture and history stopped us in our tracks.
“Brie,” our wise and seasoned Labrador, is gone now, but her stunning moment perched on a hillside near Kanab reminds us why we chose to make southern Utah our home.
